Christ Was Born
In the midst of this time of everyone
being very busy and preparing for
many different Christmas events.
Let us not forget to focus on the true
meaning of Christmas.
When Christ was born, shepherds
came to honor Him, wise men from
the East brought Him gifts, and the
earth rejoiced at His birth. These
people who came to worship Him
had no idea what Christ would
accomplish as an adult. But they
were right in traveling to worship
the King because His birth was the
most remarkable event in human
history. Wise men and women today
worship not only the Child of Bethlehem,
but the Christ of Calvary.
Have a blessed Christmas

Jesus Birth Foretold
LUKE 1: 26-31
26 Now in the sixth month the angel Gabriel
was sent from God to a city in Galilee called Nazareth,
27 to a virgin engaged to a man whose
name was Joseph, of the descendants of
David; and the virgin’s name was Mary.
28 And coming in, he said to her, “Greetings,
favored one! The Lord is with you.”
29 But she was very perplexed at this
statement, and kept pondering what kind
of salutation this was. 30 The angel said to
her, “Do not be afraid, Mary; for you have
found favor with God.
31 And behold, you will conceive in your
womb and bear a son, and you shall
name Him Jesus.
I hope your all having a blessed time
in your preparations for our Christmas
celebration of our Savior's birth.
I am doing well and keeping up as
they say. Thinking of you all.
Blessings, Doreen

Tilda ~ Christmas Greetings
Hi everyone, wow this is a busy time
for me.
I bet it is for you too. I still have some
cards to make for family and friends.
I enjoyed this card as Tilda is a
ballerina dancing with sugar plums
in music.
How cute. Lots of reds and shades
of grey for her hair in Copic colors.
Background paper is all sparkley
and so shinny. The red branch is
red glitter and the white bow is a
satin edged style. CS from SU.
Sorry that this card is on the dark
side, had to take it indoors and my
lighting is not so bright.
But you can still see the card details.
Just a note to let you know I will
be on the quiet side for awhile since
I have many activities that will
take my time.
I wish you all a wonderful Christmas
season and a great time with
family and friends.
Merry Christmas and God's
Blessings to all.

and used a glittery red leaf to add
some fun color, also put white sparkle
on Tilda's coat and hat.
Copic colors are used. Skin E00, E11 & R81.
Hair is C00 C3 & C5.
Tilda's coat, hat bell and gloves
are R46, R89 & R37. Boots C5, C7 & C9.
Shadow is W2.
Using my Copic air brush added
some Red to the white Rose. Also
enjoying using our Cuttlebug to
create a fun dotted swiss background.

Tilda Angel
I love all kinds of Christmas songs.
I am already enjoying my favorite
Christmas carols and hymns.
"Angels We Have Heard on High"
is a Christmas carol. The song
commemorates the story of the birth
of Jesus Christ found in the Gospel of
Luke, in which shepherds outside
Bethlehem encounter a multitude
of angels singing and praising the
newborn child.
I love angels and this Tilda image
is so very sweet. And we can use her
for any time of the year.
This Christmas song is one of my
favorites.
History
In A.D. 129, Telesphous, Bishop of
Rome, ordained that, "In the Holy
Night of the Nativity of our Lord and
Savior, all shall solemnly sing the
'Angel's Hymn.' " With that
proclaimation the 'Angels Hymn'
became the first Christmas hymn
of the Christian church. Its most
common English version was translated
in 1862 by James Chadwick, and its
most memorable feature is its chorus
Gloria in Excelsis Deo!, which is Latin
for Glory to God in the Highest.
I used Copic pens for my coloring.
Flowers from WOC. Ribbon lace and
pearls from my stash.
Gold glitter for her wings and halo.
CS from SU and designer paper from K&Co.

Greetings everyone. I have been
away from my hobby room for awhile
and now back at it. I so enjoy
making cards to try all kinds of
layout designs.
Tilda is in a winter wonder land setting.
I love this image.
She is enjoying her little blue bird
and the snowmen in the snow drifts.
I used Copic pens to color Tilda. Card
stock is from SU. I used a torn paper
technique and used my stipple brush
to add color to the snow texture.
Other items from my stash.
Are any of you having snow yet? We
have none in the forcast for us.

Packages ~ Tilda
This is indeed a busy time of year.
I am needing to spend a lot of time
getting gifts ready for Christmas.
Plus I have many birthdays at this
end of the year.
So my card features on my blog will
be very limited.
I have quilts and quilted bags to finish
and table runners to make.
Also my Christmas cards to make
and send.
Being handicapped I seem to move
more slow than most of you, but still
enjoy the challenge of the projects.
This Tilda is a fun one for Christmas
or any winter Birthday card.
I used Copic markers to color my
image and for some fun accent I
used a dotted swiss template in my
Cuttlebug for a background paper.
I will feature this card in two challenges:
Krafty Hands Challenge ~ Christmas
One Stop Craft Challenge ~ Anything Goes
Do keep in touch and again I love
viewing your fantastic blogs.
Many thanks for coming by.
Blessings to all

Pastel Christmas
Hi everyone, hope this finds you
all doing well.
I made this card for a Pastel Christmas
challenge but never got it submitted
in time. This image is one of my favorite
Christmas images, and use it
every Christmas.
Sometimes my days get busy and do
not get all things done....LOL...do
you have days like this?
My card making will be slowing
down as I need to keep making gifts
for Christmas. I am on a tight budget
and so need to use my fabrics and other
items for gift giving that I have here
at the apt.
This angel and CS is from SU. Other
items from my stash. It is hard to see
the glitter on the angel, it is really pretty.
