Well here we are August already. I am excited as I am going with my sister and a friend to the beach, this Thursday. Can't wait to smell the ocean air and hear the waves.
I used a lot of layering in this card design. And made a background paper bow.
CS from SU, BG paper from K&Co. Flowers from WOC. Pearls from my stash. I used my Copic brush to add a splash of color to my sentiment.
I tend to use a lot of SU products and SU & Magnolia images.
Wishing you all a fun week filled with stamping opportunities to create fabulous cards. Your all an inspiration to me. Your cards give me many idea's to enjoy trying.
Many thanks for coming by. Blessings to all Doreen
I found this card fun to design. Tilda looks so elegant. I tried a weaving background using card stock, background paper and ecru shaded ribbon. It was a challenge to get all lined up but was fun to do.
I added some pearl trim and some pearl beads. A fun stick pin and flowers from WOC.
Using an oval shaped Spellbinder plain and scalloped. I used my Copic air brush to add color to the scalloped one to have the color I needed to match the theme. Copic pen colors used are Skin E01 E11 &R81. Hair E33 E37 & E41. Dress & Shoes R81 R83 & R37 with G94.
I would love to have a day at the beach. My sister and I were talking about when we could do a day at the beach, but no plans as of yet.
This is a really cute Tilda wading in the water. I used Copic pens, Skin E01 E11 & R81. Hair E43 E57 & E59. Hat and bows R35. Dress R22 & R24. Water B34 & B91.
Card stock from SU, Shell sticker from K&Co. lace, pearls and rhinestone swirls from my stash.

Sending big hugs and encouragements your way. Blessings Doreen
Hi everyone. About one year before my dear husband went home to be with our Lord in Heaven. I got this most wonderful kitty to keep me company, as John was then in a nursing home. Dusty Boy has been my good buddie ever since. I got him at 6 weeks. He is a male, Orange Tabby. Very loving and fun to play with. He is full of hugs and loves. He has a quiet purrr.
I was so excited when this Tilda image came out with a kitty. Had to have it to make cards to feature my Dusty. I used a color combo of Orange and Pink. This is a very different color combo for me to use. It is bright and very colorful.
I used Copic colors, Skin E01 E11 & R81. Hair E29 E35 E39 & E53. Kitty YR 21 YR 81 Y12 Y21 Y32 & Y38. Sweater top R20 R32 & R35, Socks R20, Skirt & Shoes E34 & E37.
Flowers from WOC, MS leaf punch, ribbon and pearls from my stash. CS from SU.
I had a quiet weekend and spent some time in my hobby room organizing my scraps of cardstock and designer papers. I put all into color groups into zip lock bags. Oh my goodness I had way more than I thought. I need to use my scaps before making more.......LOL
Have a great week everyone. Hope your all doing well. Many thanks for coming by to visit my blog. Hugs & Blessings to all Doreen This is Dusty wathching me take photos of my cards on the patio through the screen door.
Hi everyone. My goodness our weather has been so muggy and last night we had thunder but hardly any rain with it. Just a mere few sprinkles of water. Cooler temps today but still muggy.
I am enjoying a day to play in my hobby room.
This Tilda is a cute summer image to design around. I used Copic colors. Skin E11 E01 & R83. Hair Y32 Y35 & Y38. Mermaid & bubbles B00 B02 B04 & B05 Flowers from WOC, CS from SU, Ribbon, lace & square beads from Micheals. Other items from my stash.
Our days here in the NW of Oregon are warm and muggy. I had to put fans on to get some air moving.
Our poor US is really suffering a severe drought. Food prices will be soring through the roof as they say. I could use a nice day at the beach. But with gas prices so very high, I have to watch my budget. My sister had an idea of three of us going and splitting the gas and that will make it possible.
So until then, I enjoyed making this card and thinking of the beach.
Happy Summer Days for Tilda. Colored in Copic pens, Skin E00 E11 & R81. Hair Y11 Y32 Y35 & YR 24. Boots B000 & B34. Top Y06 & YR16. Shorts B36 & B45. Bows and Life Ring B34 & C00. Light house and fish charm from my collection. Flowers from WOC. Magic mesh, sea shells, ribbon silver chain all from my stash. Sand Piper stamp and CS from SU.
Wishing everyone a special day to create fun cards. Oh btw, many thanks for the input on adhesives. All great information.

Good morning everyone. I had a great weekend and now looking forward to a great week.
I have some new background papers that I have had for some time now and I am looking fwd to trying them out.
I sometimes have a hard time with papers that are a busy design. Not always sure what to do with them. Some designs are bold and still have to put a lot of thought of how to use them in a card. How about you? Do you all have this challenge?
I used flowers from WOC, pearl trim, pearls, ribbon, sentiment and swirls from my stash. Spellbinder scalloped oval and plain oval. CS from SU.
Matthew 14:18-20 18 And He said, “Bring them here to Me.”19 Ordering the people to sit down on the grass, He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up toward heaven, He blessed the food, and breaking the loaves He gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the crowds,20 and they all ate and were satisfied. They picked up what was left over of the broken pieces, twelve full baskets.
Our Heavenly Father always provides our needs. I Praise the Lord for this daily.
Due to some major financial blows recently, I am having to use some of my grocery money to pay bills.
I was so excited yesterday as a friend brought me 3 huge boxes of food. Wow I could not believe my eyes.
And what is most exciting is that 90% of the items delivered were on my grocery list to buy this next week.
My prayers were answered and the Lord provided for me as He did with all the people and disciples in Matthew 14.
Share your needs in prayer and He will provide.
Praise the Lord with me .... with thankful hearts. Blessings To All Doreen
My goodness it is Friday already. I am feeling better this week and most of my energy is back. Our weather is good and in the low 80's and very comfortable. I have been in my hobby room making some more Tilda cards. I am just not into making Christmas cards yet. Plus I do not have any Tilda Christmas stamps to color. So will need to see what I can do for this area. Being on a tight budget I may only be able to get one Christmas image and use it in a wide variety of ways. I do have a few Christmas images of Tilda from a swap a year ago, and can I use them.
This Tilda image reminds me of being energetic and having way too much fun. Makes me smile. She is colored with Copic colors, Skin E01 E11 & R81. Hair E17 E27 & E53. Clothes and socks are R24 R27 Y06 & Y11. I used two background papers. One is only yellow circles and the other is a stripped print that I cut into strips to lay diagonally. My CS is from SU. Flowers & Floral stick pins from WOC, Leaf punch is MS, Ribbon, buttons & ties from my stash.
Have a wonderful and safe weekend. Blessings To All Doreen
As a child it was fun to go to the beach and find sea shells and put them into my little bag to take home. Fun days to remember.
We would not mind being at the beach now, to enjoy cool ocean breezes as it is very warm here in the great Northwest of Oregon, upper 80's where I am. I will take this as many of my friends in other parts of the US are in the 100's. I would not last too long in that kind of heat.
For my card I used: Blue CS from SU, BG paper from K& Co. Flowers from WOC. Sentiment by Cloud 9 Design. MS leaf punch, ribbon and sea shell charm from my stash. Scalloped oval and oval from my Spellbinder collection.
Tilda is having so much fun at the sea shore. Enjoying the fish and sea shells. I love going to the beach. I live only 1 & 1/2 hrs. from the beach and it is so fun each time we go. The air smells so good and love the sound of the ocean waves. We have a fantastic aquarium to visit in Newport Oregon and it is filled with many great fish of all kinds. The sea otters are really cute.
I used my favorite Copic pens in these colors = Skin E11 E00 7 R81. Hair Y11 YR 21 YR 24. Boots B91 B93 B95. Bows & top R27. Shorts B93. Life preserver B24 C00 C3.
Flowers from WOC, Ribbon & red cs from SU, BG paper, fish, sea shells & sentiment from K& Co. Magic mesh from my stash. I used my Cuttlebug for the imbossed effect on the white paper.
Hi everyone, I am Praising the Lord for a successful surgery. I am still waiting for the pathology report for final details. I am very tired and weary from the process. Many thanks for all your encouragements and prayers. I am so excited they had no trouble getting the cancer tumor out of my body. Praise His Name. !!!
Now to a new card I made last week. This was my first attempt in making a Side Step Card, it was fun and more easy to cut out than I thought it would be.
This is one of my favorite new Tilda images, and I colored her with my Copic pens. Skin, E00, E11 & R81. Hair E29 E42 & E57. Dress, socks and shoes B000 B02 & R24. Watering can YG 63 & YG 93, Shovel C3. Flower pots E35 & E99.
Background papers, cs, ribbon, butterflies & rhinestones from my stash. Flowers from WOC, MS fence, leaf and lace punches were used.
Have a great weekend everyone and be safe. Again many thanks. Blessings to all Doreen
There is nothing like a fun day at the sea shore looking for sea shells. Tilda here is having way too much fun..
I gave the bg papers a tri cut look and that was fun to do. I found this new ribbon at our Micheals store for a pretty water illusion. Also found this neat bag of sea shells on sale and could not resist them for my cards. I used a string of beads around the top shell to give the essence of shinny rocks in the water.
I used Copic pens to Color Tilda. Skin, E00 E11 R81, Hair E31,35 & 37, Shell E70 & R20. Water B000 & B01, Swim dress R37 & R83. Stippled Brocade Blue for the sky from SU ink pad. Flowers and beads from my stash.
Many thanks for coming by to say hello and leave encouragements.
I may be quiet for a few days, as I have surgery this Tuesday. Do pray for me that all will go well and I will be cancer free. Your friendships and prayers are much appreciated.
