Tilda ~ Thinking of You
Greetings everyone. This is a more simple layout and design.
I used flowers from WOC. Ribbons and pearls from my stash.
I used a Spellbinder shape and cut it to fit in the corner.
This is one of my very favorite images of Tilda. Love her hands in the pockets. So cute. I used Copic pens to add color.
Have a fabulous day.
Blessings to all

Garden Of Roses
Tilda is enjoying her garden of roses. I have fond memories of my Mom's roses in her garden each summer. All colors were represented. My favorite was a yellow rose with red/orange edges on the petals. So totally goregous.Nice sweet fragrance.
The background paper inspired me for this card. I used CS from SU, pearls, ribbon, lace, from my stash. Flowers from WOC, I sprayed the white flower with my Copic air brush to add some red color using real red copic colored pen.
I stamped Tilda on white cs and used a Spellbinder die cut for my shape.
I used Copic pen colors, E11, E00 & R81 for her face,
E33, E35 & E53 for her hair. C00 for the angel wings. R32, R35, G07 & G24 for clothes and socks.
C3 & C5 for the shoes. G09 & R27 for the flowers. I then used an ink pad from SU, Garden Green to stipple brush the edges of my die cut.

Summer is so filled with bright colors and wonderful varieties of flowers. I wish summer would come and stay here in the Pacific NW of Oregon, we seem to only get a couple days of warm temps then back to cool rainy days.
Hope your all staying on the cool side, as I hate the heat, I do not feel well in hot temps. Our gardens need more sun shine to grow.
Have a wonderful week and many thanks for coming by for a visit.

Singing Praises
No one really knows where the harp originated and we will never know what harp music sounded like in the pre-historical era. In Egypt, some of the earliest images of bow harps are from the Pharaoh's tombs dating some 5,000 years ago.
Vertical harps with 2 arms also known as lyre harps or "lyres" also began appearing in ancient Sumaria by 2800 BC. Some of the oldest carvings of harps were discovered in Phoenicia with marble harp statuettes found dating back to 3,000 - 2,300 BC.
Psalm 71:22-23
I will also praise You with a harp, Even Your truth, O my God; To You I will sing praises with the lyre, O Holy One of Israel.
My lips will shout for joy when I sing praises to You;
And my soul, which You have redeemed.
David in the Psalms took many opportunities to Praise the Lord in music.
Let us today sing and Praise the Lord with all our hearts.
With thanksgiving and Praises let us sing with a smile on our faces no matter what challenge we are facing.
Have a blessed day in the Lord as we sing to His Praise.
Blessings, Doreen

Sea Shore Box For Tilda
Front view of my Sea Shore Box
Back view of my Sea Shore Box
Hi everyone, I thought I would enter this project in the Midweek Magnolia challenge, which is Anything but a Card.
Wow I had to put my thinking hat on.
So I decided to make this box. I had no template or pattern so made it up as I went along. I used my score board and just started measuring and I came up with this box. I put the ribbon on as a way to close the box.
I used this Tilda image and the Sea Shore as my theme. It was fun to put together.
For my Tilda I used Copic pens, E11, E00 & R81 for her face. E39, E43 & E79 for her hair. B34, R83 & R85 for her dress, bows & hat. B00 & B21 for water.
CS is from SU, ribbon from my stash and Sea Shore stickers from K&Company.
Our weather here in NW Oregon has been cool inbetween warm days. Really odd weather patterns.
I am not feeling my best, always tired. I know the surgery results, will help me be more like myself. I look fwd to being cancer free.
I make a lot of cards and I also quilt. As a widow, I still have a hard time being alone so much. John has been gone now for 2 1/2 yrs. Still seems just like yesterday he was still with us.
Many thanks to all who come by and say hello. Have a super fun and great weekend.
Blessings to all

Fun Play Day ~ Tilda
Hi everyone, today is a great day to have some fun in your craft area.
This is a very happy Tilda enjoying a fun play day.
Red White and Blue is always a fun color combo to use.
I used some white flowers from WOC and then sprayed red ink on them using my Copic air brush.
I stamped Tilda on a Spellbinder die cut and used a stipple brush to highlite the edges.
Colored with my Copic pens, and used red ribbon bows and red ribbon to make a larger bow and border. Pearls, star charm and papers from my stash.

Tilda With A Feathered Friend
Canaries...
The canary — among the most popular and varied pet birds in the world — is well known for his vocal talents and vibrant color. Canaries are actually finches, and they can be green or yellow, bright orange, or even brown. Still, when folks think of them today, they most often conjure up a brilliantly colored yellow bird, thanks to the Sylvester-outsmarting Tweety Bird.
Tilda is showing us her favorite feathered friend and enjoying the fun vocal sounds it makes.
Embellished in flowers from WOC, charm bird cage, sparkly lace trim, ribbon and pearls from my stash. The background paper was my inspiration for the colors and theme of this card.
I used Copic colors for Tilda.
Have a super great day. And many thanks for coming by. Your comments encourage me a lot.
Blessings Doreen
Blessed Be The Lord
Psalm 68:19
Blessed be the Lord, who daily bears our burden,
The God who is our salvation.
There is no burden that the Lord is not aware of. He will ride the storm before us.
We just need to keep our focus on Him and we will feel His peace and joy.
God is the blessed controller of all things. His will is the perfect will for each of us.
Have a blessed day in the Lord.
