Birthday Flowers

Hi everyone, say I have been really busy
totally re arranging my hobby room.

Oh my goodness what  a job this has turned
out to be. I am still trying to arrange things
to be user friendly for me, as I
am handicapped.

Plus having moved from a large home to
an apt. Talk about down sizing.

I found I had not featured this card from
my stash. All items are from my SU supplies.
Except the pearls.

I should be up and running soon and making
cards for my blog.

I do miss you all. I have enjoyed visiting your
blogs and viewing your most fantastic cards.
You all inspire me so much.

Have a fun and blessed week.

Friends So Sweet

Saint Valentine's Day, commonly known
as Valentine's Day, or the Feast of Saint
Valentine, is observed on February 14
each year.

It is celebrated in many countries
around the world, although it remains a
working day in most of them.

It is the second most celebrated holiday
around the world second to New Year's Day.

Paper Valentines became so popular in
England in the early 19th century that
they were assembled in factories.

Fancy Valentines were made with real
lace and ribbons, with paper lace introduced
in the mid-19th century.

The reinvention of Saint Valentine's Day in the 1840s has been traced by Leigh Eric Schmidt.

As a writer in Graham's American Monthly observed in 1849, "Saint Valentine's Day... is becoming, nay it has become, a national holyday.

In the United States, the first
mass-produced valentines of embossed
paper lace were produced and sold
shortly after 1847 by Esther Howland
(1828–1904) of Worcester, Massachusetts.

This was a fun card to make with a more
simple layout design.

I used SU Real Red card stock, and other
items from my stash. I also used a
Nestability die cut for my sentiment
base and stippled the edges with a
red tone ink.

I have never really been a Valentine
person, but I do like the colors of
the occasion.

or Lace

Have a great week everyone, and many

Abide In Love

1 John 4:16
We have come to know and have believed
the love which God has for us. God is love,
and the one who abides in love abides in
God, and God abides in him.

Malachi 3:6
For I, the Lord, do not change

Hebrews 13:5
“I will never desert you, nor will I ever
forsake you,”

God's love is never changing and always
there for us. What wonderful peace we
have in Him each step we take.

Praise His Name.

Good morning,

My goodness it is cold outside, so a great
day to stay indoors and make some
fun cards.

This is a colorful card for Late Night
Stampers color challenge.

We used Rich Razzelberry, Pink Pirouette
and Lucky Limeade.

I used card stock in Lucky Limeade and
designer papers in the other two colors.

SU scalloped punch.

Hopy you all enjoy the card I made with
