Quilting Tilda

This was a totally fun card to design. I am a retired quilt instructor, so sewing a quilt on paper was way fun.  I used a straight stitch and a serpentine stitch for my quilt.

Papers are from my stash, I cut squares then cut again into triangles.

I added 2 fun sewing charms, a sewing machine and a pair of scissors.

Flowers are from WOC, Ribbon and sentiment are also from my stash.

Tilda looks so cute going off to her quilt group to have some fun.

I will enter this card into these challenges:

ABC-Challenge ~ Q For Quilt

Divas By Design ~ Anything Goes

Paper Play Challenges ~ Double Delight

Scrapbook Sisters ~ Anything Goes

Simon Says Stamp ! ~ Anything Goes

My dear friends, I met with my surgeon and we have scheduled my cancer surgery for July 3rd.

My prayer request is that I can drink a gallon of cleansing fluid the day before and that they will be able to remove all the cancer that is in stage one.

Many thanks for your prayers and friendship.

Happy card making to all
Blessing Doreen

  1. There is something very appealing about an ex quilting instructor making a quilted card. If anyone is going to do it right, it's going to be you. I don't know any quilting stitches but I know what I like and I love your card.

Thank you for sharing your work with all of us at Crafty Boots Challenges.

I sincerely hope that everything goes well on 3 July.
