Elegant Tilda

Many are doing fall themed
cards, as I am also doing. But this one
was fun to do using the pinks and teal
shades. Had fun adding the lacy border
to the card edges.
And added background layers to give
some great demensions.

Tilda......... in Copic shades. I love this
Tilda image and I seem to use her a lot.

Flowers are from WOC, lace punch MS,
ribbon is SU in wisper white, butterfly
is K&Co all other items from my stash.

This card is more of an elegant Tilda
theme.  Hope you like what I have done.

Please also visit the One Image and
Four Designs below this posting to
give me some comments too.

Many thanks for visiting both postings.

Have a super great weekend. I will be
working on more fall cards to post on
my blog and also working on quilts for
Christmas gifts.

Hugs and blessings to all

This is a Stampin Up image. I decided to create 4 card designs using this image. It was a fun challenge and I enjoyed the way they turned out.

Many thanks for checking them out and leaving comments.

It was fun to cut the image into 3 sections. Colors give a fall theme to the card.

This is a fun design, adding looped ribbon to the side.

The teal color gives a brightness to the card.

Buttons are always a great addition to a card design.

Using plum color shades to create this fun card. I used some frosty brads for the edges.

Background card stock lacing gives a neat demension.

On the fowers I added some glitter glue to give some sparkle to the design.

Birthday celebrations for this card design.

Created a block design for this background.

Pearls are always a fun element to any card.

Well here are my four cards, again many thanks for coming by to let me know what you think.

Blessings to all

Hi everyone. I have been busy working
on a quilt. I also took some time to make
some cards.

Fall is a fun time with all the beautiful
fall colors. Sunflowers are in bloom and
look so majestic in bright golden yellow.
Tilda is colored with Copic pens.

I used my Copic air brush system to spray
the white flower and pearls to the color of
golden yellow.

Entering this card in these challenges:

Abiding In Christ

Abiding in Christ.
I know if I want that invigorating power

of Christ, I need to continually be obeying
His Word and keeping His commandments.
I need to constantly be in tune with Christ
and abiding in Him.

Life seems to give us challenges that are so overwelming that we lose our focus.

I had this experience with the illness of
my dear husband and then his departure
to our Lord in Heaven.

It was in my daily reading of God's Word
and staying obediant and keeping His commandments that I felt and had to power
to make it and face each challenge. Was it easy.....No.....but there was a peace and
freedom to move ahead knowing God is
the blessed controller of all things.

Dear Ones, read your Bible today and enjoy
the love and peace of God. Abide in Him and
allow Christ to help you.
"And he that keepeth his commandments

dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby
we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit
which he hath given us." 1 John 3:24

Blessings to all.

Hi everyone, wow fall is here and some
trees have already changed leaf colors.

This was a fun card to design.
This is so cute Tilda playing
in the leaves.

Cuttlebug collection and stipple
brushed it with brown and rust
colors from SU.

After looking at my calendar and
counting the week til Christmas I
see I need to spend most of my time

I usually do.

Hi every one, how have you all been doing?
I am fine. Having some trouble
with water retention. My legs are really
aching. The next two days taking
double water pills to help.

Been busy in my kitchen. Made some zucchini
bread and some black berry
cobblers.  I hope to do some card making
this week.
I am just not in the mood yet to make
Christmas cards. I guess I should give
it some thought. I did get my Christmas
stamps out. I need some background
papers to carry a theme. I am not really
a Santa person, mostly enjoy the
Christian manger & angel themes, I also
like the Victorian themes with carolers.

I made this card a few weeks ago, it is a
happy card and was fun to create.
Copic pens, Skin E00 E11 & R81
Hair E17 E18 & E42
Clothes & Socks B00 BG49 R37 & R83.

CS and BGP from SU. Flowers from WOC,
Pearls & Ribbon from my stash,
and branch punch is MS.

I wish many of you could come and join
me to do some card making together,
how fun that would be.

Have fun in your hobby rooms/area's.
Hugs and Blessings to all.

I Praise the Lord each day for giving me His strength, being handicap is sure a challenge at times and can get me down. But I strive to stay focussed on Him for His present help to me. Many days I do not feel like doing much and have to talk to my self to keep moving. Praise God for His mercies new each day.

 Leaning on Christ.

The more I lean on Christ, the more I find that His power and strength are mine. Leaning on Christ gives me a boost as I live the Christian life.

"God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." Psalm 46:1

"He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust." Psalm 91:1,2

"Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong." 2 Corinthians 12:10

Blessings to all.
